These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and all services provided by Precision Locksmith. By using our site or booking service with us, you agree to the terms below.

1. Licensing and Legal Compliance

Precision Locksmith is a fully licensed locksmith company regulated by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), Private Security Program, License #B30853701. All work is performed by registered locksmith professionals in compliance with Texas Administrative Code §35.291 and applicable state laws.

2. Service Authorization & Contract Formation

By requesting locksmith service—online, by phone, in person, or through any platform—you confirm that:

You are the property owner, tenant, vehicle owner, or authorized agent
You authorize Precision Locksmith to perform the agreed-upon work
You understand and accept the total price before work begins
Your signature and/or payment constitutes full approval and acceptance of service

3. Payment Terms

Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of service.
Accepted forms of payment include major credit/debit cards, mobile payment apps, or cash
Failure to pay may result in third-party collections or a lien under Texas Property Code Chapter 53
Returned or disputed payments are subject to a $35 administrative fee

4. Refunds, Disputes & Service Issues

All services provided are final and non-refundable, due to the labor-based, time-sensitive, and security-sensitive nature of locksmith work.

If you have a concern regarding:

A billing error
Service dissatisfaction
A payment or authorization issue
Workmanship or equipment concerns

You must submit a written request to precisionlockmaster@gmail.com within 7 business days of the service date. We will review the matter in good faith and may request photos, documentation, or additional information. No guarantees are made regarding refund, credit, or remedy unless required by law.

Requests received after the 7-day window may not be accepted.

5. Scope of Services

Precision Locksmith provides mobile residential and commercial locksmith services throughout the DFW area.
We currently cover:

Lockout services (residential, commercial, and automotive)
Lock rekeying and replacement (residential and commercial only)
Storage unit lockouts
Safe lockouts

Note: We do not make or program car keys, nor do we offer vehicle key duplication or ignition replacement.

All service is subject to technician availability and geographic coverage. We reserve the right to decline service in cases involving:

Illegal activity or property disputes
Unsafe or hostile environments
Misrepresentation or fraudulent requests

Warranty: All lock change services include a 6-month workmanship warranty covering installation and functionality issues resulting from labor.
This warranty does not cover:

Misuse, abuse, or forced entry
Customer-caused damage
Product defects or failures unrelated to installation
Environmental damage (e.g., weather or corrosion)

To make a warranty claim, customers must notify us in writing at precisionlockmaster@gmail.com within the 6-month period from the date of service.

6. Property Condition & Damage Disclaimer

Precision Locksmith is not responsible for:

Pre-existing damage to locks, doors, hardware, or entry points
Cosmetic damage resulting from necessary or emergency access
Indirect or consequential damages (lost wages, missed appointments, etc.)

To the fullest extent permitted by Texas law, our liability is limited to the total amount paid for services rendered. We shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the service.

7. Customer Data & Privacy

We take your privacy and information security seriously.

Customer data is collected only for legitimate business purposes, such as scheduling, identification, transaction records, or legal compliance. All data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not sell or rent customer information.
We do not store payment data after a transaction is completed.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information.

By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your data for operational and legal purposes as allowed under Texas and federal law.

8. Third-Party Tools and Services

This website may integrate with or link to third-party tools (e.g., maps, contact forms, review platforms). We are not responsible for the functionality, accuracy, or accessibility of third-party content or services.

9. Reviews, Platforms & Fraud Prevention

We welcome honest reviews, but fraudulent, defamatory, or retaliatory claims may result in legal action. Precision Locksmith reserves the right to challenge false reviews or abuse of any third-party platform.

Users who misuse review systems or submit false complaints in an attempt to obtain free service may be reported and legally pursued.

10. Website Use

You agree not to:

Use this site for illegal purposes
Access or tamper with restricted areas
Copy, scrape, or reproduce content, images, or pricing
Impersonate Precision Locksmith or its employees

Violations may be pursued under Texas and federal law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most current version will always be posted here. Continued use of our site or services indicates acceptance of any updates.

12. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Collin County, Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
