At Precision Locksmith, we take pride in delivering honest, fast, and professional locksmith services throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. As a fully licensed and insured Texas locksmith company, we operate in accordance with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) and maintain full transparency in our pricing and service expectations.
Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final and non-refundable once work has been completed.
Why Services Are Non- Refundable
Locksmith services involve immediate labor, emergency response, and one-time entry or security-related procedures. Once a service is rendered—such as a lockout resolution, rekey, or lock installation—that work cannot be undone, recovered, or resold.
Because of this, we do not offer refunds for services that have already been completed and signed off on by the customer.
Situations Where a Review May Be Considered
We are committed to customer satisfaction and will always review concerns in good faith. A refund, credit, or service adjustment may be considered under the following conditions:

You were charged incorrectly or received a duplicate charge

The service was not completed as described on your invoice

A clear workmanship issue occurred during a lock change or rekey

You submit a written dispute within 7 business days of the service date
While refunds are not guaranteed, we will evaluate each case based on the facts and documentation provided. Our management team has sole discretion on resolution outcomes.
How to Submit a Service Concern or Dispute

All review requests must be received within 7 business days of your service date.
6-Month Workmanship Warranty (Lock Changes Only)
All residential and commercial lock changes performed by Precision Locksmith include a 6-month workmanship warranty covering labor-related installation issues. This warranty does not apply to:

Misuse or abuse of the lock

Vandalism or forced entry

Environmental damage (e.g., rain, rust, corrosion)
-
Product defects not related to installation (e.g., factory failure)
To file a warranty claim, email us within 6 months of the original service date and include your invoice number and issue description.
Chargebacks, False Claims & Review Abuse
Precision Locksmith reserves the right to defend against and dispute any fraudulent chargebacks, false refund requests, or misuse of online review systems.
Customers found submitting false claims or manipulating review processes in an attempt to obtain free service may be subject to:

Documentation and rebuttal through proper legal channels

Collections action

Legal action for theft of service or defamation
We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, and all disputes are documented in full.
